  Media studies  In this specific scene in the Bourne identity, produced by Universal studios and directed by Doug Liman, the camera angles create so much impact and unravel so many media codes within each shot. Some of the boats, including a pontoon have the key colours (red and blue-representing is future and past)We first get an establishing shot, which shows it is gloomy, cold and serious which also establishes it is not a very happy nor friendly place. It also brings a sense of government empowerment and control through the cold view of the docks, linking to the dangers he is about to walk into and brings through an environment that shouldn't be trusted.  As Bourne enters the new location off the boat onto the cold street, the camera zooms into his face, showing his confused and lost expression as he examines his surroundings, showing us he is still unsure and it makes the scene overall unfamiliar to both Bourne and audience. Who (out of the 7 core representation areas of society) are being represented in this clip?  (you can choose more than 1 category if you feel it's relevant) Status is being represented. we can see through the activity of the different classes and they way they are both presented through costumes, music and mise-en-scene 2. How are they represented to us? (what messages are we told about these groups? What are they like? What are their lives like?
